NORTH PORT – North Port ranked No. 92 out of 200 cities on Forbes Magazine’s just-released 2013 annual Best Places for Business and Careers.
On Forbes.com, editors cite job growth, an educated work force and medium home prices as factors.
They also mention North Port’s natural features, such as Myakkahatchee Creek, Myakka Forest and Warm Mineral Springs, and its arts center and performing arts center.
North Port is also credited with being in the same metropolitan area as Sarasota and Bradenton for “other points of interest” that include the Ringling Museum of Art, Sarasota Jungle Gardens and the Charlotte Sports Park.
